This is the purest version I have found. The game allows you to play without all the cheats other apps don't make optional. However, the stats are flawed as the app counts erasing a mistake as another mistake. And the ad-free pricing is ridiculous.

One of the best apps. Love the jigsaw version also. Ads are not annoying 😊

Does all you should expect a sudoku app to do.

When Smart Buttons is enabled, and taking notes and you accidentally press a disabled button, the note still appears. So, if buttons “1” and “3” are enabled (in note taking mode) and you press “4” (which is disabled), the “4” note will still appear. Is this intended or not?

I’ve been playing sudoko on this app for at least five years and have never felt the need to try another one. It is endlessly entertaining and challenging. Also, the developer responds quickly to questions and suggestions.

Love the jigsaw puzzles- so glad I found them on your app’

Long time user (free version). Have gotten settings the way I like them. One complaint is that the game board is covered at the finish. For what reason? Also, subscription? Really?

Can't believe it is free! The ads do not interfere at the bottom of the screen. Love the simple design and options if you want them. It gets you thinking in such a way as to promote enhancing your skill level. Sneaky but effective! BlackieCat1

Love the game. Love the jigsaw option. I complained about the type of ads I was seeing and it was changed.

I tried many apps, but this one is the easiest to use, and just the features I was looking for...well designed!

This game could be a little better if I could find a way to keep from getting errors when I fat finger numbers. Also if the “hint” function didn’t just place a number in a square but rather told me to look at rows, columns or blocks.

I bought a no ads deal, long ago. At that time there was no discussion on time limit. Now same program, but horrid ads flashing. Broken promises.

No badges to collect, no coins to spend, no ‘tournaments ‘. Just a fun game.

Both the classic and the jigsaw version are enjoyable and challenging. Progress through the difficulty levels to build your skills. I don't have proof but believe it helps with rational thinking and problem solving.

I especially love the Jigsaw Sudoku layout. It kicks my brain into high gear! The advertisements are easily ignored. The only thing that bugs me ever so slightly is that upon filling in the last number, the board instantly disappears to be replaced by confetti & a congrats. It may just be my quirky mind, but I like to view the finished board.

Please come out w the ad free version ASAP. The ads are such a distraction. The ad tonight lite up with moving bands surrounding the ad & no way to stop the ad.

Had this happen twice now. Playing game. Suddenly, the app is putting out a loud alarm like a smoke alarm. Killed the app an the alarm stopped really not a good thing. What if that went off on a plane.

I like listening to music while I play and usually I can with no problem but sometimes it starts turning off my music and no matter how many times I try to put it back on as soon as the app opens it shuts it off again. Really good app besides that

Will change to 5 stars once i can pay to remove ads (hopefully a one-time purchase). I’d also love a daily puzzle feature, but the app is already great without it.

Still the best sudoku app. But I would easily pay to get rid of adds. - With this update the add banner bar is bigger. This is disappointing. Still better than the rest... but can we please have a paid version. :( The bright white adds kill night mode.

Easy to play. Best of all that I tried to play. Had this on my phone for years now.

This is the sudoku app I’ve been looking for! There is so much about this I love! You can choose from the many options to make this 'just right' for you. It is intuitive and easy to use, and even offers a landscape option. An added bonus is the jigsaw sudoku. I haven’t seen it offered in the other apps, so I was pleasantly surprised to find it here. I’ve tried a lot of versions of sudoku, and this is my new favorite😀

The earlier release had unreadable font colors on some backgrounds. It quickly became readable again in this new update. Thanks. It would still be nice to have a few choices of font color or contrast level. But thanks just the same.

The prompt response of this developer is rare and greatly appreciated! I wrote a review mentioning the pencil marks could not be seen in the darker jigsaw puzzles. The developer responded immediately and today, less than a week later, the game updated and the problem was fixed😃! This is the BEST sudoku app I have tried and the only one to offer the challenging jigsaw puzzles!

This version of Sudoku is my favorite. I have been playing it every day for several years, and each version gets better and better. I love the simplicity of the design, the clean look, and all the features it offers. In addition, the Jigsaw puzzle version is a really fun variant. I’ve tried many other Sudoku apps and this one is the best. Highly recommended!!!

I’ve never had the developer of an App answer my emails before. Just Sudoku answered me right away about an iPhone issue after an update and had it fixed pronto! Hats off to them!

Don't care for updates. The entire game cells are too small. To easy to select wrong number. As a result we no longer can reset statics. New look & options are ok except for size of game & stats reset button. Really enjoyed game prior to updates but now not so sure.

I’ve enjoyed this app for while now, so am letting others know it works well for Sudoku lovers.

Nice game with options. However, since the latest update, the average solution time has been eliminated. Really miss that feature for competitive challenge

The puzzle mode is quite unique and the creator is very responsive to questions and issues. I highly recommend it!

The playing board of this updated app is to large to fit on the iPhone and the outer rows can’t be accessed. The lowest row is covered by ads and can’t be accessed.

After the latest update the ads are blocking the place where the numbers are so you can’t see where the numbers are in order to play the game! Very frustrating!

I don't like this new update still doesn't count the games or times at all. Change it back.

Worst ever...no grid lines....go back to last version

I am not a fan of the redesign. Jigsaw puzzles had been my favorite but now the colors are darker and the numbers are lighter so I find it difficult to read. On the plus side, this redesign will cure my Sudoku addiction. I guess I should thank you

Update decreased the size of the playing grid and eliminated the grid lines. Sometimes simple is better and this is one of those times. Please go back to the old format.

After playing this game every day for months they decided to “upgrade” it and completely ruined it. Erased my statistics and the numbers to touch are not on the screen so I don’t even know how you’re supposed to play it. How to go from five stars to zero in thirty seconds!

This game was great especially the puzzle mode which is my all time favorite. With the new update I was excited to see what they could have added yet I was to be sadly disappointed. The game can’t be played because the ads at the bottom cover the numbers that have to be pushed to insert in each square. I tried changing the fonts and the font sizes. Didn’t help. Please fix.

I used to love this game until a change was made today. Can't rotate the screen. No lines on the puzzle. And now way too small. Don't understand why you made the changes. I tossed it out after having it for years.

Can’t see the whole game board, adds cover the number choices at the bottom of the page.

Yesterday’s update added good features, but board is now larger than iPhone 7 screen. Puzzle edges are cut off and number bar is off screen. No way to resize make it unplayable!

This is exactly what an app should be. User-friendly to the extreme, no ads or constant in-app purchase baits, and with a sweet simple design.

Stumbled on jugsawduko 15 minutes ago & enjoyed it, so I went to the App Store to find one for my phone and found this one. I love it so much that I don’t know how I can go back to regular sudoku. I deleted the other sudoku games from my phone. Still learning it, so I may have additional comment later.
